Hello (natural) world!
This is an introductory post, as we need to start somewhere, but not necessarily as a first one. The hope is that this blog doesn't follow a strict linear progression but rather an expansive one. The reason is, as the title mentions, the rhizome being the non-hierarchical network of mycellium that connects all trees, the non-chaotic (bu perhaps chaotic looking) way mushrooms grow in all directions without the linearity of roots-trunk-branches-leaves of coherent narrative stories. And addressing the significance of these networks for nutrition and information sharing between trees, and its role to represent the forest as one living thriving being rather than a collection of individual species, the plan for this blog is to connect different pieces of writing related to the concepts of nature, philosophies such as deep ecology, and indigenous practices such as animism and alternatives ways of seeing/being.
More to sprout soon.
